Rules

Length and Form
• I am a literate multi-para writer. Paragraphs only, please!
I DO NOT DO SCRIPT.
• I generally shoot for at least 500 words per side; I don't know how to shut the fuck up though so sometimes my responses are pushing 1000+ words.
• You do not need to match my length!!! Again, you do not need to match my length!!!
• Different scenes require different things - and as such, sides don’t have to match either. Just be fair please! I will always put effort into crafting your side, please give me the same courtesy!
Frill and Format
•I’ve gotten pretty into formatting these days if I'm roleplaying via email - if you don’t like it/prefer to have a more toned-down response please let me know! I use pictures, lyrics, quotes, line breakers, etc.
Replies and Dedication
• I roleplay over my email or discord account but can be persuaded to use Google Docs!
• I try to get out replies as frequently as possible, usually every 3-5 days when I’m not swamped (though longer replies may take longer, roughly 7-10 days). This all depends on real life and muse, of course. Please be kind -- I am doing my best!
I DO NOT DO RAPID FIRE RESPONSES AT THIS TIME.Love Interests
• I play yours, you play mine~ ♥
• I’m cool with love triangles or more. They can be fun as long as there’s variation and plot involved!
NSFW (Not Smut)
• I ask that you are comfortable with mature themes and ARE AT LEAST 18 (21+ PREFERRED).
• I will, of course, abide by any triggers you have and share with me!
• I have no triggers that I know of, just give me a heads-up if you're going to do something insanely gory please and thank you!
NSFW (Smut)
I know you skipped to this one... It's okay. I'm a degenerate too. ^
• First of all, yes, I'm fine with smut BUT
• When it comes to NSFW scenes (any of them tbh): please be strategic. It gets awkward and boring if it goes on for too long or happens too frequently unless it’s important to the plot and/or character development -- in those cases, have at it!
• Also, I need to be comfortable with you and your character before I can write a half-decent smut scene - give me a few messages first pls
• I try to get through sexy scenes a bit quicker than (my) average (that's hopefully not what she said) so it's not too drawn out, and messages may get a bit shorter since it's such an... involved... activity lol. Don't be alarmed if that happens, I'm just trying to leave room for you/your character.
Hard Limits are the usual suspects: no noncon, animals, children, gore, necro, strange (yk what I mean) body fluids or functions, or extreme feet things because we don't wear people as shoes round these parts, thank you kindly. **
Note: Sooo we know smut is fun but it can also be tricky when tastes don’t line up. Not necessary, but if you could let me know what level of smut you’re into before we start steamin’ it up that would be baller. See smut key below:Quazi's Smut Key
^Black: fade to black
Green: fluffy, flowery language; no explicit mention of parts
Yellow: inoffensive euphemisms for parts and actions, moderate description
~
Red: explicit words and description**~just fyi: I tend to default yellow if you don’t tell me otherwise. I’m also okay with red, just want to be considerate of your comfort levels so everyone is having a good time.Character Division
• I will play side characters in a scene but I don’t have the skill to play everyone all the time -- feel free to jump in as you need/want!
• Feel free to introduce your supporting OC characters! I have a bunch too!
God-Modding and My OC
• My main OC is off-limits to you.
• Supporting OCs are an iffy subject - just ask!
Miscellaneous
• Have fun! That’s the point of all of this!
•I’m completely fine with side conversations when we RP. Making friends with my RP partners makes the experience more enjoyable, and I also get to know what you’re like and what you’re into. I understand if you would rather not though -- no biggie!
Thanks for checking out my rules!

Samples

Sample One: Short (300-500 words)
Fandom: Boku no/My Hero Academia
Character: Tenya Iida
Word Count: 464
“Ingenium, sir, your 2 o’clock is here!”Tenya paused his deep stare at the report he’d been paging through to look up at his assistant as he stood rigidly in the door frame. Despite the pages and pages of terror he’d been wading through that afternoon in search of some connection to the threat they’d been staring down the last few weeks, Tenya could have almost chuckled at the sight of his sidekick, Teruno Ishiruma (also known as Turbot), folded stiffly at the waist. It reminded him of someone a few years back…Tenya lowered his papers and offered a small smile. It felt uneasy – after all, who could smile when their city was under attack? - but he’d mastered the act by then. “Thank you, Ishiruma. I’ll just get this mess cleaned up. Can you move her to the conference room and let her know I’ll be there shortly?”Another deep bow and Teruno was hurrying away. Tenya tucked his smile away as his eyes landed once more on the page in front of him, sopping up the horrible details one last time before he shuffled them back into a neat pile, clipped them, and slid them back into their folder. He tucked it under his arm when he rose from his desk, handsome face grave with the subject matter that awaited him.“I’m sorry to have kept you waiting, [Name],” he spoke as the door swung open and he stepped into the room, pausing there to push up his glasses and take in the person sitting in one of the modern but tasteful chairs on the other side of the room. Her dark hair spiked precariously around the crown of her head, her eyes shining with mischief in a hue he’d never seen before until that very moment. His curiosity remained but he didn’t dare look away once his gaze was caught; the only other detail he could glean in his peripheral was the purple coat she wore that brought out the glowing amethyst of her eyes.“I’m Tenya Iida, but you can call me Ingenium if you’d prefer it.”He cleared his throat quietly and closed the door behind him, once again pushing up his glasses for distraction as he made his way to the table to sit across from her. She had a slightly intimidating air about her; not scary, but something like it. Not dangerous… but risky. He could sense it with his whole body, but he put it aside the moment he opened the file and was reminded of what was going on in his city. Feelings could wait. They always did.“I’m sure you’re aware of the attacks in Hosu City… Thank you for coming. I could use the extra hands if you find it worth your time.”

Sample Two: Medium (500-1000 words)
Fandom: Naruto
Character: Shikamaru Nara
Word Count: 598
“Man, what a drag. The sun is way too hot to do chores,” Shikamaru muttered to himself as he hid out on the patio of his bedroom, as silently as he could manage after hearing his mother’s voice calling from inside. He lay on his side with an elbow on the thin mat he rested on, fanning himself with one of the paper ones the cat hadn’t destroyed yet. It sat beside him, mewing softly as it bat at the fan, assuming they were playing as annoying as Shikamaru found it since he was bound to be discovered if it kept making so much noise. He closed his eyes and attempted to ignore it as the air washed over his face, grateful for the overhang that prevented the sun from beating down on him directly. He’d been ‘off’ that day and he meant to enjoy it, really enjoy it, meaning he was free to laze around and eat as he wished – but his mother obviously had different plans.“Oi, Shikamaru! I’ve got someone here I’d like for you to meet.”Apparently so did his dad.Shikamaru let himself roll onto his back and his head rested against the floor in defeat. His hand dropped and the cat immediately seized the opportunity to step on the fan and claim it for himself, but Shikamaru barely cared about the fan at that point. He just wanted to nap, was that so much to ask on his day off? Why did his dad come back with someone? For him to meet?? Just thinking about it exhausted him and he nearly slipped off into a nap when another yell, more urgent that time, startled him awake again.“Hurry up, Shikamaru!”“Alright, alright already,” Shikamaru groaned to himself as he pushed himself to sit up. He was able to climb to his feet shortly after and, however reluctantly, he crossed his bedroom floor and ventured out into the hall where his mother was batting at cobwebs. He was able to get by without answering to her since Shikaku was calling from below and they had guests apparently, though the look on her face (that he didn’t even have to see, he could feel her eyes on him) said that he was in for it later. When he finally made it downstairs he was massaging the tension out of the back of his neck and his face was pinched with his obvious disapproval about being called away from his nap. “What’s the big deal, dad? I was kinda trying to relax,” Shikamaru said under his breath, dark eyes involuntarily drawn to the person standing beside his older lookalike. A girl he recognized from around the village, and as his dad’s student, but not someone he knew personally. He’d heard interesting things about her at the very least, from Shikaku and otherwise. When you had a kekkei genkai like hers, it was hard to keep shinobi both fascinated and otherwise from talking about it.“It’s [Name], right?” Shikamaru knowingly asked with a slight nod in her direction as his hands lowered to slip into his pockets instead. His head tilted off slightly to the side as his analytical eyes swept over her. Her hair was ////// as ////// and in stark contrast to the richness of her ///// skin. Her eyes were ////// pools, but kind. Determined. So this is her, he thought to himself upon his final sweep. She was intriguing, in any case... he guessed. Shikamaru’s eyes closed once more and his shoulder lifted as his head tilted to the other side, “It’s nice to meet you. Was that all?”

Sample Three: Long (1000+ words)
Fandom: Death Note (Wammy Academy)
Character: Teru Mikami
Word Count: 1,245
Teru, admittedly, was a little embarrassed by the smile Kiyoshi sent his way. Small, but unburdened by the humor that seemed to always be lurking in the young man’s voice that time. Kiyoshi wasn’t making fun of him, wasn’t playing a game with him. They were just… talking, weren’t they? His shoulders relaxed while his chest tightened; an unusual feeling, one that he was unfamiliar with and couldn’t name. It felt like… anxiety? Was he anxious? He didn’t feel… Maybe that was lie. Everything that Kiyoshi said seemed to put him on edge even when it put him at ease – especially when it put him at ease, because why did the near-stranger have that much power over his person? Why was he giving it to him? He didn’t understand Kiyoshi. Maybe that was the anxiety. Some people don’t mind. Most people did.Why don’t you?Teru felt nervous when the attention shifted to what he was doing – or rather, what he was failing (miserably) at doing with his hands. They were much less nimble hands, a bit bulkier and much clumsier than the long fingers of the owner of the cards. He was grateful for the distraction when Kiyoshi demonstrated another technique; that one involved both hands and looked much easier, but he wasn’t necessarily jumping at the opportunity to attempt it since he’d learned his lesson quickly –Broad shoulders stiffened again when those agile fingers were brushing the sides of his palm, just barely, as the weight of half the cards settled in the middle. It was almost an intimidating weight – his hands had barely been able to handle the half after all – but realizing there was a single card between Kiyoshi’s fingers drew his attention. That, and the fact that his eyes fell away from him, seeking, and that strange feeling wound Teru’s chest muscles tighter – was he bored of him? – as he tried to follow his voice. He’d heard that term before – counting cards – but the concept was murky at best to the scholarly teen. It didn’t stop the organ in his chest from lunging awkwardly when Kiyoshi was looking at him again, a glint in his eye that just screamed trouble as he sequestered secrecy. He didn’t have time to think about it before he was watching Kiyoshi turn away again, lips upturned with a wicked smile and eyes dancing with mischief as he gazed across the room.Teru’s eyes moved briefly to follow Kiyoshi’s gaze and, believing he found their target, leapt back over to the young man in his own company. He was smiling like he knew him – knew what his reaction would be to watching that card disappear from his skilled hand –But Teru was not prepared. The look on his face, the tension in his body – all of it set off bells in Teru Mikami’s brain. His blood moved a little faster through his veins, some of the haze lifted from his calculating mind as sharp, dark eyes watched every stomp of a step that the student took towards them. He knew that posture, that bearingTeru glanced over at Kiyoshi with some urgency, fingers twitching as his instinct told him to step forward, closer, protectively – protectively? Teru forced his shoulders back down when his eyes flit back over to the approaching student warily. Kiyoshi did not need his protection because nothing was going to happen.“Where the fuck did you hide that card?!”Teru’s jaw tightened at the raucous tone, at the words, but his body slowly thawed from its deep freeze when Kiyoshi seemed unbothered by the behavior. Familiar, even. His gaze was unimpressed as he looked on at the obviously inebriated student, judgmental. It only took the moment for him to form an opinion, and his opinion was simply no.It only worsened as he invited himself into Kiyoshi’s personal space, irritating Teru further when had he gotten irritated? though he continued to stand there in silence when Kiyoshi pushed the young man away to Teru’s relief. No, no, no“Whatever, have you met Mikami-san?”The clouds darkening his eyes lightened only slightly at the sound of his name, face held blank though he politely stepped forward since Kiyoshi had chosen to introduce them. Teru didn’t care to know this person, but that did not matter. He bowed only slightly in acknowledgment, more of a nod really, as his large hand clasped over the deck of cards that still rested like a weight in his palm. The newcomer turned to him, expression already less haughty as he tried and failed to hide a chuckle.“Don’t thinksso… Daniel.”Teru was relieved that Daniel didn’t offer his hand to shake – he still wasn’t comfortable with that greeting yet – but bowed his head again when he repeated the name. “Daniel-san.”Daniel sniggered and his dazed expression melded into one that was both amused and surprised as he mimicked the gesture to Teru before tossing a look over at Kiyoshi. Teru interpreted to be making fun of him since he saw a question in those foggy eyes, but Daniel was turning back to him a moment later and made some – albeit, uncoordinated – gestures with his arms that Teru didn’t understand.“Wax on, wax off!”Teru stared uncomfortably for a second before his eyes were escaping to Kiyoshi yet again for direction as Daniel laughed. What am I supposed to be doing with this… person?“Are you one’f K’yoshi’s friends?” Daniel slurred, drawing Teru’s eyes back to him. He didn’t know how to answer that question. It was harmless – he could see it in Daniel’s eyes that he wasn’t a cruel drunk, just a dumb one – but he didn’t know how to answer that question.“We met today.”“He’ssa cool dude, once you get to know’im,” Daniel went on, turning to look at the dude in question for a moment before he turned back to Teru, “Likes doing these dumb little card tricks all the time but whatever. Swims like a damn torpedo. Not fair he’s so damn long -”Teru wanted to take offense on Kiyoshi’s behalf, but Daniel was smiling while he said it, his tone light with amused admiration that made Teru’s brow want to crease. He didn’t understand this way of talking –“Oh no, Mikami-san,” Daniel stopped in the middle of a drunken ramble when he spotted the cards in his hands, making Teru look down at them as well when he asked, “You don’t do those cheap parlor tricks too, do you?”No.“C’mon then, show me-” Daniel insisted, the back of his hand patting Teru’s arm in a gesture that felt both too familiar and oddly encouraging before Daniel crossed his arms, straining his blurry eyes to focus on Teru’s hands. “I’ll fuckin’ figure it out, bet.”“I –” Teru began, feeling only slightly nervous to be put on the spot for something he couldn’t deliver as he fixed his glasses. “I apologize - ” he kept himself from saying his name if only to avoid whatever the hell that was earlier again, “- but I do not know any card tricks.”“Not a right scammer, eh?” Daniel asked, laughing as a thumb brushed his nose and his body loosened up again., “Where’d you find this one, K’yosh? Hardly seems like your typ’a scoundrel.”There it was again. That pang. Teru looked at Kiyoshi since Daniel did, unsure what else he had to offer to this Daniel anyway, though his thoughts strayed as he did. What did that mean?
